This will help bring people to the Neptune/Sixth mall across the street and a block over. That  area of Neptune is going to be hot with condos, retail, and restaurants year round. Smart move. Also I did some research on the owner - Sells Mercedes and Jaguars at his other dealerships.

Auto dealer plans 77,000 sq ft Coney Island showroom 1 block from Neptune/Sixth Mall

A Florida car dealer is planning to replace a vacant lot on Coney Island with a new auto showroom.

Manny Kadre, who has auto showrooms in multiple states, filed plans to build another one at 809 Neptune Avenue that will be two stories tall and span 77,487 square feet, according to plans filed on Wednesday with the Department of Buildings. Kadre purchased the lot for $14.5 million in 2015 from Storage Deluxe, a self-storage company.

Kadre’s building will also include a car wash, rooftop parking, administrative offices and an auto repair center, according to the DOB filing.

Kitchen 21 Ribbon-Cutting today

The historic Childs Building in Coney Island has been restored. Ribbon-cutting ceremony is tomorrow at 2 with the Brooklyn Borough President presenting. It will host concerts during the winter as it shares the amphitheater stage as it goes indoors.

NetCost moving into Neptune/Sixth

The company announced Thursday that it signed an anchor tenant to 532 Neptune, which would be tallest building in South Brooklyn upon completion. Russian grocery chain NetCost Market will take 38,000 square feet on the ground floor and will move to the building from a smaller space nearby.
