Pretty aggressive timeline for the first building
NEPTUNE/SIXTH, CONEY ISLAND’S PREMIER MIXED-USE DESTINATION
The comprehensive re-imagination and revitalization of 532 Neptune
Avenue and 626 Sheepshead Bay Road will create a hub of transportation,
shopping, restaurants and services for the Coney Island community. These
exciting new destinations will feature more than 250,000 square feet of
premier retail and commercial space combined, more than 800 parking
spaces, and outdoor landscaping and seating areas.
The first phase of this new community-oriented development is the
site at Sheepshead Bay Road, which is being developed into a
161,000-square-foot retail and commercial building that is planned to
welcome tenants by Summer 2017.
The current businesses located at 532 Neptune are an important part
of the plan. They are assets to the community today, just as the
completed Neptune/Sixth aims to be an asset to the community tomorrow.
During development, these vital businesses and services will relocate
Neptune/Sixth development site, allowing for continued access, service and convenience to their loyal customers.
