PYE Properties files plans for Amusement Arcade building

Positioned on Surf Ave right by the W 8th St train station. Let's hope this indoor arcade is open year round. It would help the restaurants being developed on that block.

NY Yimby excerpt -

Coney Island-based PYE Properties has filed applications for a two-story, 14,517-square-foot commercial building at 825 Surf Avenue, located on the corner of West 8th Street on Coney Island. According to the Schedule A, the 27-foot-tall building will house an amusement arcade, which will help to revitalize the disinvested and still Hurricane Sandy-damaged amusement park.

Neptune Sixth Shopping Mall will resemble a mini Kings Plaza

About 1/3 the retail and commercial space of Kings Plaza. It will be an essential part of the transformation of Coney Island into a year round destination -

NEPTUNE/SIXTH, CONEY ISLAND’S PREMIER RETAIL DESTINATION

The comprehensive re-imagination and revitalization of 532 Neptune Avenue and 626 Sheepshead Bay Road will create a hub of transportation, shopping, restaurants and services for the Coney Island community. These exciting new destinations will feature more than 300,000 square feet of premier retail and commercial space combined, two parking garages offering over 500 spaces and outdoor landscaping and seating areas.
