The State Liquor Authority has given a division of Samuel Adam’s parent company the thumbs up to open Coney Island Brewing on Surf Ave., officials said.

The beer maker would take over the former home of a pizza shop next to the Brooklyn Cyclone’s home stadium and Peggy O’Neill’s Bar.

“The heart and soul of Coney Island Brewing Company is 100% inspired by the beach, the boardwalk and the people of Coney Island,” said Alan Newman of Coney Island Brewing.

“It took some time for us to find a location that worked for us, but it was worth the wait,” he added. “We couldn’t be more excited for this new adventure.”

The original Coney Island Brewing Company launched in 2007 and was bought by a division of the Boston Beer Company in 2013.

The new space at 1904 Surf Ave. will feature a full-scale brewery, a tasting room and a retail shop where customers can buy growlers of their favorite Coney brewskis, a spokeswoman said.

“It’ll be fantastic for Coney Island,” Peggy O’Neill’s co-owner James Quigley said. “We want more business out here.”
