A cluster of Dumbo buildings once comprising a vast Brooklyn portfolio
owned by the Jehovah Witnesses will begin its transformation into a
high-tech office and retail hub in 2015.
Construction sheds that have been up all over the campus for months
will begin to come down this spring, revealing 80,000-square-feet of
retail and restaurant spaces, developer Jared Kushner told the Daily
Craft company Etsy and shared workspace provider WeWork have already
announced leases at the facility but many more high-profile deals will
likely come to light this year.
