Ferrari also said a new beach bar, called Club Atlantis, would be coming to the boardwalk this summer next to the coaster, and offer beer, wine and dancing. It would replace the Grill House, which is relocating nearby, and former Beer Island.
Ferrari, who is seeking a liquor license for the new bar, said it would be fenced away from the amusements so young children and drinkers couldn't mingle with each other.
The board’s economic development committee voted to recommend the city award the license.
