On Tuesday, officials held the first of three job fairs. Lynn Kelly, the President of the Coney Island Development Corporation, says everything is on schedule for the summer season.
"A year ago we hadn't even finished the rezoning. So in less than one year, we're delivering on our promises not only to provide jobs to the neighborhood but to really jump-start the development for Coney Island," Kelly said.
